    Hello, I am 59 days away. I just booked Wild Africa Trek at AK. I was wondering, is it a very dirty hike? Do I need to worry about my group wearing white sports shoes? I know rain will play a part, but on a normal day is it some what dirty? Silly I know

    Hi Kim! I have done the Wild Africa Trek a few times and it is one of the coolest experiences at Walt Disney World. The animal interactions and the informative guides make the experience truly one of a kind. 

    As far as attire is concerned for your journey onto the savannah, I would not recommend wearing shoes that you will get upset with getting dirty. Although it is not an extremely strenuous hike, you will be going through the woods which sometimes get muddy and the path can be really dusty. I also recommend wearing pants or short that come to the knee. You will be wearing a safety harness that can be uncomfortable with shorter shorts or skirts. Get your smile ready, because the photographer on this tour is amazing and their pictures are some of my favorite shots of my kids that I have!
