chEARs Elizabeth!
I’m so happy to see that you are planning a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! I’m a native Californian, so Disneyland holds a special place in my hEARt.
It sounds like you’re about to have some grand adventures with
a little one! While there is not a daycare facility on-site, you still have a few options. If you are staying at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel, you can check with the Front Desk about
third-party babysitting services. The companies are independent of Disneyland Resort, and all payments and services will be between you and them exclusively.
If you are concerned about your
little one not being big enough for certain attractions, no worries! First, you will be pleasantly surprised by how many rides do not have height requirements so that the entire family can enjoy them together. Second, there is a fantastic service called
Rider Switch. Adult Guests (14 or older) can wait with the younglings while the rest of the party enjoys the attraction. Once the first set is done, the second set of Guests get to skip the regular queue and enjoy the ride! You can check out the list of attractions that have Rider Switch
here!
If your
young Padawan is an it-bit, make sure to take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers. They are in both
Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, and honestly, one of my favorite places to visit! You can change a diaper, have a snack, or take a break in a calm, relaxing environment. By the way, they have thought of everything! There is a vending machine with baby essentials and a kitchen with a sink and microwave for your convenience.
Elizabeth, I’m going to try and grab another one of your questions. See ya real soon!
