E from NJ Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Since our 60 day window opened on November 3, every single restaurant has shown no availability for our entire week’s vacation. How is our family supposed to eat if we’re shut out of everything from the minute it was available?

    Hey there, E!

While I would imagine that advance dining reservations for some popular dining spots are booked at 6:00 am 60-days out, I have a sneaking suspicion that our friend Stitch has been up to some mischief and you have encountered a technical glitch.

E, I recommend that you try to make your dining reservations both on your desktop computer as well as through your My Disney Experience Mobile App. If that does not work, try logging out of your account then logging back in.

If you still are unable to make any reservations for your dates, keep checking back. People cancel their dining reservations all the time, and as someone cancels a reservation, you may be able to pick it up!

In fact, I have planned an entire Walt Disney World trip within a week. While I did not get to dine at Cinderella’s Royal Table, we did get to enter The Beast's castle for a fabulous meal at Be Our Guest Restaurant. Even if I have all of my dining reservations made, I like to check the My Disney Experience Mobile App at night after we get back from the parks, just to see if there are any reservations that want to change.

E, if you are still not able to get an advance dining reservation, please do not panic!

Dining Reservations are only required for sit-down meals. These meals can take quite a bit of time out of your day and there are plenty of counter service locations in all four of the parks. You will not go hungry, I promise!

Additionally, once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort you can use your My Disney Experience Mobile App to get onto the walk-up waitlist. If you are the spontaneous type, simply swing by the host stand of anything that looks good and ask if they have had any cancelations. While this strategy can not be guaranteed, you may get lucky!

E, do not forget to take advantage of the Mobile Ordering feature on your My Disney Experience Mobile App. My family orders our food pretty early in the day so that we can get the arrival window that we like. Once we arrive at the restaurant, our food is freshly prepared. I take the little ones to go find a seat while my husband grabs the food. Not waiting in lines with hangry children really helps take some of the stress of our vacation.

I hope that this put your mind at ease, E!

    Have a yummy time!
