Hello Andrew, welcome to planDisney! I also live in the UK and have just accessed My Disney Experience (both desktop and app) and have noticed the same error message you mentioned. I'm sure this is merely a short-term glitch that will be magically fixed real soon. Meanwhile, I have a few recommendations for you.
If there is a specific restaurant you are interested in, let's say
Tiffins Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. Once you open that restaurant page and select the 'Check Availability' option, you can reserve a date and time. To help speed up the booking process, I like to ensure I have a payment card set up in my profile of My Disney Experience. Doing so makes efficiently booking your spot a cinch. You can also book dining by
speaking with one of the helpful Cast Members. Rest assured, Guests from the UK and around the world are welcome and able to book their desired dining experiences at Walt Disney World.
Some dining experiences are extremely popular so it's a smart move to consider your options beforehand. When the reservation window opens at 11 am (GMT UK time) 60 days before your arrival, you'll want to be ready to make your reservation. As a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you get the fantastic perk of being able to reserve dining for up to 10 days of your stay at this time. It's definitely something you should take advantage of!
Narrowing down dining recommendations isn't easy. If I were to book my perfect Disney dining day, I would opt for breakfast at
The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom Park, followed by lunch at T
he Hollywood Brown Derby in Hollywood Studios and dinner at
Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT.
The dining choices are endless! Andrew, I hope this information helps you to book and enjoy all the magical dining moments at Walt Disney World. We're here to help at planDisney if you need anything before your Disney adventure, Louise.
