How ya doin', Veronica, and welcome back to planDisney!
It sounds like you've got a great itinerary planned for your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. I see you've got some Magic Kingdom time in the morning and some in the evening to work around
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates and some time at EPCOT to enjoy the
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. You've even worked in some fun at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom to round out all 4 parks. As it stands, I wouldn't change a thing. I recommend three things to enhance your visit and keep everyone happy and thriving.
1. It's going to be hot during your trip, and at that time of year, you can expect rain most afternoons. Hit the parks early and be prepared to head back to your resort for a midday break. A little shower and change of clothes will make everyone feel better as they head into the second park of the day. You may even want to have the kids nap for a bit. At both 6 years old and 9 years old, my goddaughter was better able to manage the long day after some rest.
2.
Lightning Lane Multi Pass may be worth adding to your first park day and your third park day. In September, mornings at Magic Kingdom on party day tend to be a bit lighter in crowds. My friends and I were able to hit all of the major attractions before noon just this last year, following that plan. The evenings can still fill up with people trying to get in nighttime viewings of
Happily Ever After and
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away. Being able to book Lightning Lanes will help offset some of those crowds.
3. The
pool is your friend. If the little ones feel a bit restless from all of the park hopping, take some time to enjoy one of the pools at
Disney's Pop Century Resort if the weather permits it. A little splash is a great way to get some of that energy out.
Veronica, have the best time this September. If you find yourself with any other questions,
you've only got to ask. We're here to help!
Happy planning!
Taylor
