    The day we are visiting The Magic Kingdom, the park is open until 11pm. Although, I thought that normal park hours were from 9am - 9pm. My question is, does it cost extra to be able to stay for the extra park hours?

    Hi, Amanda!  The theme park hours do vary, and they tend to be open later in the summer and during peak holiday seasons.  If the park hours are posted as being open until 11 PM, the park is open until 11, and if you have your theme park admission for the day, you can stay until closing.

    If the parks list "extra magic hours", which are hours either before or after regular theme park hours, those are open to resort guests only.  It's a perk of staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, and again, if you have your theme park admission for the day, and you are a resort guest, you can stay until the theme park closes!

    The extra magic hours are a great way to extend your theme park time.  Some parks will have them in the morning, some in the evening, but if you are a resort guest, make sure you check the schedule for when you'll be there, and maybe schedule your days around the extra magic hours!
