Our 7 day vacation is booked for May 2012, family of four, kids are 2.5 and 8 mths. How can we best enjoy the parks, attractions/rides with two small kids? We want to enjoy as many rides together as possible! Any suggestions and advice greatly appreciate.

Hi Karen! I bet your family is getting excited about their upcoming stay at Walt Disney World! May will be here before you know it!

Visiting Walt Disney World with young children is easier than you would think.

My first recommendation is to take advantage of Rider Swap for those attractions you want to visit, but cannot bring your children on with you. My husband and I took advantage of this with Soarin', Rock n Roller Coaster and Big Thunder Railroad. We were both able to experience the attraction without wasting time by having us both wait in line. This will work especially well for you while your young ones are napping in the stroller.

I also know how you feel with wanting to experience the attractions together as a family. Walt Disney World offers many rides that you can all enjoy, such as Mickey's PhilharMagic in Magic Kingdom, Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage at Hollywood Studio's and Turtle Talk with Crush at Epcot, just to name a few.

A great resource is the Little Ones at Disney Theme Parks guide. This guide lists the best attractions for little ones, tips on baby care centers and more.

I hope that your family has a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
