Royal greeting, Jennifer of Connecticut! planDisney welcomes you with great fanfare. Your family's Walt Disney World Resort visit is coming up during the holidays, so get ready to celebrate! And there's no better way to celebrate than with those beloved
Disney princesses. Let's look at how your little one can get an audience with their majesties.
You are wise to choose
character dining experiences as a way to meet princesses. At most meals, characters will come to your table at least once to chat, sign autographs, and take photos. You can enjoy a delicious meal while the princesses come to you. Talk about feeling like royalty!
Since members of the royal family have many duties in the realm, specific appearances at meals aren't guaranteed. Typically, you might meet Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, and Jasmine at
Cinderella's Royal Table in Magic Kingdom Park. At
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT, you could additionally see Belle, Mulan, and Tiana. I wish I could give you a definitive answer, but meeting characters while dining is a bit like pixie dust; sometimes, the surprise is what makes the experience magical!
I recommend using the
mobile app to check current character meet-and-greets throughout the theme parks. Tap the location icon at the bottom of any screen and then select "Characters" from the dropdown menu above the map. You can filter by location, and I like to toggle to "View List" to see them in alphabetical order. You can choose a character to see times and places; use the "Wait Times & Show Times" tool on the Welcome screen to help plan your day.
According to the app, Moana can be found at Character Landing at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park today. Ariel from the live-action story is at the Animation Courtyard inside Walt Disney Presents at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Again, appearances are always subject to change, so the app is your best tool for the latest information.
My son was always shy when up close with characters, so he enjoyed watching them in parades. The
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom Park is an excellent way to see Disney royalty. The music and floats are larger than life; your child will be awestruck! And a wave or wink from a princess from her perch is thrilling for guests of all ages.
Jennifer, I'm waving my Fairy Godmother wand so you'll make many new friends with crowns on your visit. Please stop by
planDisney anytime! We'll have a glass slipper waiting.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
