Hi, we have a 6-Day Ticket with Park Hopper Plus Option in Disney World Orlando for nex August, I want to know if we need to make reservations for the parks before we go, or we can just hop in whenever we like, thanks.

Welcome to planDisney, Tom. Thanks for reaching out to us!

Currently, date-based theme park tickets for the Walt Disney World Resort do not require Theme Park Reservations to visit the theme parks. So if your tickets have specific dates for which they are valid, usually purchased by picking dates from the Disney World calendar, you should be all set to visit the parks without reservations. And since there are currently no restrictions for park hopping, you can hop whenever you'd like!

Before I had my Annual Pass, I was never a huge park hopper. But that has definitely changed. There's something about being in one park in the morning, and then another park in the afternoon that allows my itinerary actually to be a bit more free-flowing than before. If I have an urge for one of those mouth-watering waffles at Sleepy Hollow, but I'm in EPCOT, I can grab the monorail at the front of the park and make my way over to Magic Kingdom Park. Or, if a new (or classic) Lunch Box Tart at Woody's Lunch Box is calling my name, I can hop on the Disney Skyliner from EPCOT to Disney's Hollywood Studios. It just allows more flexibility and, if you let it, a certain amount of spontaneity!

Tom, I'm wishing you the absolute best on your upcoming trip to the resort. If you have any other questions, I can't wait to answer them!

    Enjoy it all,
    Matt
