With a 2 day ticket can you go to same park both days?

Welcome to planDisney, Patricia! With so much to explore at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, choosing how to structure your visit can feel a little overwhelming. I’m so glad you reached out, and I’m happy to help you map out your perfect Disney days.

To begin with, the short answer to your question is absolutely yes. With a standard 2-day theme park ticket, you are free to spend both of your days in the same park if that’s what works best for you. You simply need to make a theme park reservation for your chosen park on each date of your visit. As long as reservations are available for the park you want, you can return to it on both days. Some Guests do this when they want to take their time exploring every nook of Disneyland or devote extra time to favorites in Disney California Adventure.

If you’ve chosen Park Hopper tickets, you also have full flexibility in how you start your day. You can begin both days in the same park, enjoy the morning atmosphere, and then hop over to the other park after 11:00 AM (on most days) whenever the mood strikes. It really is Disney magic shaped entirely around the way you want to experience it.

My biggest suggestion, Patricia, no matter which park you choose to kick off your morning, is to arrive early. Stepping into the park during those first peaceful moments of the day brings a special kind of magic. It’s the perfect time to enjoy shorter standby waits for popular attractions, whether you’re looking for that classic morning rush on Space Mountain (always a strong way to start a day) or prefer easing into things with a soaring flight over global wonders on Soarin’ Over the World before the midday crowds roll in.

Before your trip, I’d also recommend downloading the Disneyland app if you haven’t done so already. It’s the most helpful tool for navigating your visit, since you can check attraction wait times, view entertainment schedules, browse menus, place mobile food orders, and locate shops and dining spots throughout both parks (which is especially helpful when you’re searching for that perfect mid-afternoon snack).

Patricia, I hope this gives you the clarity and confidence you need as you plan out your theme park days. If you have any more questions or would like help crafting an itinerary that feels just right for your Disney style, please stop by and visit us again at planDisney.

Wishing you a truly magical trip filled with adventure and pixie-dusted moments,
