I have a 1-day ticket to Epcot. Is the main entrance the only place to enter the park? I would like to see the front of the park in the morning and then come back in the evening to see the World Showcase.

Hey, there! Hi, there! Ho, there, Heather! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I'm so glad you found us so I can answer your question about the entrances to EPCOT. Your trip will be here before you know it, so let's get right to it.

I'm happy to share that yes, in addition to the main entrance at the front of the park, there is an entrance to EPCOT called the International Gateway, which is located within World Showcase between United Kingdom and France. Getting to it can be a little tricky, though, as there is no public parking.

There are three ways you can access it - on foot, by boat or by Disney Skyliner. If you're staying at one of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels between Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT or if you have a dining or recreation reservation at one of them, you can either walk or use one of the FriendShip Boats from your resort. If you're staying at a resort on the Skyliner route (or if you have a dining or recreation reservation there), you can use the Skyliner to get to EPCOT. Lastly, if you're coming from Disney's Hollywood Studios, all three options are available to you. If you're driving and you were hoping to park, your best bet is to park at Disney's Hollywood Studios and then pick your mode of transportation.

You're visiting EPCOT at such a great time, too. Cool KIDS' SUMMER is happening right now, and Goofy's stealing the show over at GoofyCore located inside CommuniCore Hall. You'll find some themed limited time food and beverage offerings as well. Soarin' Across America just opened recently in celebration of America's 250th anniversary. I couldn't help but seek out the spoilers, and from what I can tell, it's truly breathtaking. Of course, it's always a good idea year-round to cap off your evening with a viewing of Luminous The Symphony of Us. You might even consider booking a Spice Road Table Fireworks Dining Package or a Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package for prime viewing right from your table.

Heather, I hope your trip is spectacular! Please visit us again if you think of any other planning questions we can help you with.

    Let your dreams guide you!
