Hi Claudia!
Thanks for bringing this question to planDisney! I’m lucky enough to have some of those non-expiration theme park tickets from way back when, too! Doesn’t it feel like you’ve hit the jackpot?
To
turn your old ticket into a usable ticket today, you’ll want to
call the Tickets phone line or visit
Guest Relations at the theme parks. That way, your ticket will be linked to your My Disney Experience account and ready to go when you scan into the park.
It’s good to note that, when you plan to use that park ticket, you will need to make a park reservation since it’s not a date-based ticket. Once your ticket is linked to your account, you can
make your park reservation at this link.
2026 would be a great year to put that past ticket to use! There are lots of exciting things happening around the parks this year. I’m personally looking forward to
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin reopening this spring (with a huge update!) and the debut of
“The Magic of Disney Animation” at Hollywood Studios later this summer.
I’m also excited to see
Cinderella Castle transform back to its classic color scheme throughout the year. The nostalgic blues, grays, and creams are coming back!
I hope this year is full of magic for you…and that it includes putting that past ticket to use! If you have any other questions, come back and visit us. We’re always happy to help!
