Hi there, Laura, and welcome to
planDisney! I'm so excited that you've booked your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth! I totally understand the excitement of a recently booked vacation, and I also understand that it's nearly impossible to know what we'll be doing a year from now. It's wise to inquire about your options just in case you need to change your plans.
Laura, you'll be happy to know that, depending on the type of booking you have, you might be able to
cancel your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel online without penalty up to 30 days before your arrival. Some bookings require that you call a helpful
Cast Member to confirm the cancellation. The closer you get to your vacation, you might incur a penalty fee to cancel your booking.
Disney Theme Park tickets aren't refundable, but can be changed to another date - they won't lose their value! Depending on the pricing of the date you change them to, there might be a price difference to pay.
As your vacation draws near, you'll have the opportunity to book
Advance Dining Reservations. Those can currently be made 60 days before the day you check in to your Resort. I recommend making one reservation per day, so that you have some built-in time to relax and recharge around a table full of delicious food.
Laura, I hope this is helpful to you as you plan your vacation! If you'd like any recommendations for fun activities, attractions, or dining for your family, you have a friend in me! Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See you real soon!
Jennifer
