Hi Erica! Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
As the
temporary closure period for Walt Disney World Resort has unfolded, we have seen updates to some of the operational changes that have been announced. Currently, the
Walt Disney World website states that date-based tickets valid beginning March 12, 2020 through the closure period will automatically be extended to use any date through December 15, 2020. However, in recent days many of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel have noticed some tickets are now showing as valid any dates through September 26, 2021. I just confirmed with a Cast Member that the new expiration date for tickets is indeed September 26, 2021. The website should be updated to reflect the change in dates in the coming days. You can view the expiration dates of your tickets on the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Use the menu in the lower right corner to select "Tickets and Passes".
If you notice that the expiration dates of your tickets have not been extended, I recommend
giving the Existing Tickets line a call at (407) 566-4985. A Cast Member will be able to take a look at your account and assist you. If your tickets are part of a vacation package, you will need to call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line at (407) 939-1936 to reschedule your vacation.
Keep your eye on the
phased reopening page as well as the
Disney Parks Blog. Information is updated often given the nature of the situation.
I hope that helps! Please stop by the Moms Panel again with any additional questions you may have.
Anne Marie
