Hi, I have the 3 day southern ca Disneyland ticket, I already used 1 day and scheduled the other 2 days for March & May, what would happen to my reservations if I buy the annual pass right now? Thank you!

Well hello there, Carla! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by to ask us a question!

The Southern California Resident Ticket is such a great offer to be able to get a few visits in throughout the beginning of 2025. With Magic Key sales resuming, I know many Guests are hoping to upgrade these tickets to Magic Keys to continue to experience the magic all throughout the year. Luckily, upgrading your partially used ticket will be easy as you can do it right in the Disneyland app! Just remember when you upgrade that your Magic Key will show the first day of use as the day you first used your ticket. Unfortuantely, the only real downside to upgrading a ticket to Magic Key is that reservations do not carry over. It's important that you check the Magic Key Availability Calendar for the pass type you hope to upgrade to and make sure that the pass will have availability for your upcoming visits.

The Food & Wine Festival will be happening if you plan to visit in March, which is one of my favorite festivals. My fingers are crossed that they will bring back the Mickey-shaped Macaron made with Snickers. If you are a Magic Key holder, there is usually a specially priced Sip and Savor Pass available as well as specially designed merchandise.

Carla, thanks again for bringing us your question. If you have any other questions about future visits, you know where to find us!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
