I have a 10 day reservation for Contemporary, but was thinking of making it a split stay with Pop. Do I have to pay $400+ for park hopper ticket/memory maker/travel insurance-AGAIN-since it is the same vacation?

    Hi there, Heather!

My family absolutely adores split stays, which allow us to experience the amenities, dining options, and ambiance of two different resorts while MINNIE-mizing our budget.

Heather, since you booked a vacation package, you will not have to purchase theme park tickets and Memory Maker for your second reservation. What you will need to do is to make sure that the tickets linked to your first vacation package are for the number of days that you wish to visit the theme parks during the entire 10 days. Once you have your first vacation package booked, you will then need to make a room-only reservation for the second half of your trip.

Memory Maker is valid for 30-days once your first picture has been snapped, so you will still get all of your amazing photographs during both of your hotel stays. Since your travel insurance is linked to your vacation package, you will need to purchase a separate policy for your second stay.

Heather, did you know that Walt Disney World Resort could not make split-stays any easier? Simply pack your bags, call the Handy Helpers at Bell Services, and they will transfer your things to your new resort quicker than you can say "Oh Toodles."

I hope that this helped, Heather. Please come back here if we can help you figure out where to play, stay, or dine as you plan your wonderful vacation.

    See you real soon!
