Hey there, hi there, Terry! Thanks so much for your question.
Everyone visiting
Walt Disney World that would like to go into any of the
four theme parks DOES need a
theme park reservation. So yes, Terry, you will want to make a reservation to visit
Magic Kingdom Park and any of the other parks you'd like to see on your upcoming visit. As soon as you know which days you'll want to go, make your reservations. Some of the parks can reach reservation capacity on busier days.
Terry, if you haven't gotten to see any of the
50th Anniversary Celebration yet, you're in for a treat. Cinderella Castle transforms into one of the four
Beacons of Magic, with a pixie-dusted glow as the park itself takes on a magical EARidescent hue. Scattered throughout the park are the beautiful golden sculptures - the
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection - perfect for some pretty awesome photos. And the restaurants are featuring special celebration offerings that include cocktails, desserts, and even some of Walt's favorite meals.
I hope your trip is practically perfect, Terry! And if you need us for anything, come on back and see us.
Anna
