    I have a 3 day pass and am taking 6 children ages 5-16. Where do you suggest we go first? I heard magic kingdom was the best but was told not to go there the first day because the kids would expect it at every park. Is that true?

    Christy,

    Great question! I would disagree with the nay-sayers that say that the Magic Kingdom sets the bar too high for the other parks! Here is my opinion;

    1. I think the Magic Kingdom should always be your first stop on a first trip to Walt Disney World. It is the original park here, and that walk down Main Street where you can see the castle is a "Must Do!" that really starts a vacation off perfectly!
    2. The other parks are different enough that they should offer a unique set of fun for your group, even if they are not 'the big park'. Personally I have as much fun at the other parks as I do at the Magic Kingdom, and I think you will too!
    3. Make sure that you plan out some fun for not only the 5 year old, but for the 16 year old too. Everyone has more fun when everyone is having fun!

    I hope that this helps. If you need more specific suggestions, feel free to ask me directly by going to my bio page.

    Have a magical vacation!
