I have a 1 day pass with the Park hopper added. I want to start at Epcot and end a Magic Kingdom. Can I park at Magic Kingdom and ride the monorail to Epcot and back? Is this the best way to avoid parking at each location?

    Welcome to planDisney, Monica!

Adding the Park Hopper Option to your ticket helps you get even more magic out of your day.  I think your plan to begin your day at EPCOT and end at Magic Kingdom Park is fantastic -- I did exactly this on my recent trip.  I was able to nosh my way around EPCOT at all the food studios and soak up the entertainment at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, and then easily hop over to Magic Kingdom Park via monorail to experience some classic attractions and enjoy Disney Enchantment to end the evening.

The parking lot for Magic Kingdom Park is at the Transportation and Ticket Center, where the monorail lines for both Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT originate, so parking there will work perfectly for your park hopping day.  Arriving at EPCOT by monorail is so fun -- you'll actually travel through the park before arriving at the station, giving you a wonderful bird's eye view.

If you decide to drive and park at EPCOT instead, know that when you then move your car to the Magic Kingdom parking lot you will not be required to pay an additional parking fee.  Simply show your receipt -- your parking fee is good for all day.  I do like your plan better though -- hopping via monorail will be a nice relaxing break in your day and will likely save you some walking as well.

Please stop back and see us with any other questions you may have.  Enjoy your day!
