Hiya, Rene, and welcome to planDisney! It's exciting that you're here with this awesome question about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You're arriving so soon, and I'll bet you just can't wait!
Rene, you'll be happy to know that you have a few options when it comes to parking. If you have a valid disability parking permit, you can take advantage of
designated parking areas for Guests with disabilities. These areas are closer to the park entrance than other parking areas. If you end up parking in the general parking area, there might be a tram service that will take you from the end of your parking row to the front entrance. You can always ask a helpful Cast Member when you arrive if there are other options at that specific park for Guests with mobility issues.
You'll find that
wheelchair rentals are located conveniently just inside the entrance to each park. When park hopping, you'll leave your wheelchair at the first park and use your crutches until you arrive at the next park. You might consider riding a bus from one park to another or requesting a ride-share service, like a
Minnie Van, that would drop your party off at the entrance of the next theme park.
Did you know that Walt Disney World Resort offers a variety of services to assist Guests in
accessing queues for certain attractions? I hope you find that the Most Magical Place on Earth is also one of the most accessible places on Earth. Please don't hesitate to chat with a
Cast Member if you have any questions about specific queues, pathways, or other options that can help you during your time in the parks.
Rene, I hope you have a wonderful time during your day at Walt Disney World Resort! Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have! My Panelist pals and I are here and happy to help our fellow Guests!
See ya real soon!
