Hi Keila,
Welcome back to planDisney! You must be so excited because your Walt Disney World vacation is finally here.
One-park-one-day tickets do allow you to come and go throughout the day. You can't hop to a different park, but re-entry to the same park is totally fine. You can, of course, head back to your resort for a nap or a swim if you need a break. Simply climb aboard a Disney bus, monorail, boat or the Skyliner, and off you go.
Or, like my family, you may decide you prefer taking a break at a nearby resort rather than returning to your room.
For example, from
Magic Kingdom, you could pop over to the Contemporary for a late breakfast at
Steakhouse 71. (I recommend the Avocado Toast.) Take the monorail to the
Polynesian Village Resort for a little shopping at BouTiki. Or stroll over to the Grand Floridian to relax for a bit in the beauty of the elegant lobby and maybe have a beverage from
The Perch.
From Epcot, it's a breeze to exit through the International Gateway and wander around Crescent Lake to eat, drink or shop in the resorts there -- BoardWalk, Yacht Club and Beach Club. Maybe even indulge in the Kitchen Sink Sundae at
Beaches & Cream?
When you are ready to return to that day's theme park, simply go back to the entrance and tap your MagicBand, Key to the World Card or
Mobile Magic Pass for admission, just as you did when you first arrived that day.
It's easy as can be. Now, Keila, comes the hard part: You still have to wait a few more days for your magical vacation to begin. I hope the planDisney panel has been a great resource to help you plan. Please let us know if you have any other last-minute questions.
Enjoy,
Wilma
