Hey there, Louisa, and welcome to planDisney!
I absolutely love that you're planning a summer getaway to The Most Magical Place on Earth! And wow – 14 days of park tickets sounds like an absolute dream come true!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is, hands-down, one of my all-time favorite special events. It's a separately ticketed event, which means you'll need to purchase a
special event ticket. But trust me – it's absolutely worth it! From the exclusive entertainment and festive character meet-and-greets to trick-or-treating throughout the park and unique ride overlays, the atmosphere is unlike anything else.
When my family attends Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, we typically choose to skip visiting a park during the day. Instead, we use that time to sleep in a bit and enjoy a leisurely brunch at one of our favorite
dining spots. Taking it easy throughout the day helps us conserve our energy since we know we'll be staying up late enjoying all the party fun!
Although Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party officially begins at 7:00 PM, Guests with party tickets are typically allowed to enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM. My family always takes full advantage of this – it's the perfect opportunity to explore the park, enjoy a few attractions, and grab a bite to eat before the party officially begins. That way, once the festivities kick off, we can dive right into all the (not-so) spooky fun!
planDisney tip: Two absolute must-do experiences for me at every party are
Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and the
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. They're both packed with festive entertainment, incredible performances, and that signature Disney magic. Trust me – these are can't-miss highlights of the night!
While tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party haven't gone on sale just yet, usually the dates are announced around the time of the
Halfway to Halloween Celebration. For example, in 2024, the party dates were revealed on May 6th, with ticket sales beginning on May 8th for Disney Resort Guests, and opening to the general public on May 15th. Keeping that in mind, I recommend keeping a close watch on the
Disney Parks Blog so you'll be among the first to know when dates and ticket information are officially released!
Louisa, I hope this information is helpful. Should any additional questions pop up, please reach out to us again!
Happy Haunts!
