Boo to you, Tim! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question today; I'm more than happy to reach out to the voices beyond to clarify your ticket inquiry. I can feel the sympathetic vibrations of their spirits as they hope to welcome you to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party this fall!
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a special and separate ticketed event held on select nights at Magic Kingdom Park, and the fun kicks off on August 9 of this year! Because this is a special event, it requires its own
ticket, so a standard Theme Park ticket will not gain you access to the party. You are, however, still welcome to visit Magic Kingdom Park on a party day until park closing, which is usually 6 PM on party nights. If you choose to visit for the day and plan to stay for the party after, you will need to have a party ticket in addition to your standard ticket; Cast Members will be available to scan your party ticket and provide you with a party wristband to welcome you to all the spooky fun!
Tim, if you do decide to attend the Halloween party, you can gain entry to Magic Kingdom starting at 4 PM with your party ticket; this is a great perk that allows a little extra time to enjoy the park before the not-so-scary festivities kick off. At the party, you'll find lots of
new and classic offerings like trick or treating, spooky snacks, and frightfully fun entertainment (don't miss
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular!). Be sure to make time to get a prime viewing spot for
Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show! And of course, all of your favorite characters will be there celebrating in their Halloween attire; this is one of my favorite things about the event, I love seeing the unique costumes!
As you enjoy the tricks and treats of the event, be sure to also stop and capture the magic with
PhotoPass photographers; be sure to ask if they have any MagicShots that can add a little extra fun to your photos! You never know who might show up in your photos!
Tim, I hope this clarifies your ticket question and I hope you have a spooktacular visit to the Walt Disney World Resort this fall! If you have any other planning questions, come on back to
planDisney and let us know! We're always happy to haunt, I mean hunt, down an answer!
Stay Spooky,
Alison
