Hi Debra,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! I'd be more than happy to help you out.
The cost you will pay to upgrade to an
Annual Pass depends on the original cost of your ticket; you will simply pay the difference. There are so many
fantastic perks that come with being an Annual Passholder (I've had an Annual Pass for more than a decade and keep coming back for more); if you're considering an upgrade, I'd do it sooner rather than later and here's why...let me tell you about the plethora of perks available to Annual Passholders.
First off...
Memory Maker! Are you thinking of purchasing it (or maybe you've already purchased it) for your upcoming trip? It's included in an Annual Pass but is not retroactive to the date that you upgrade. If you waited until the end of your trip, you could miss out on all the photos taken during your visit. Now that Memory Maker is included, we find ourselves seeking out PhotoPass photographers for fun pictures.
Have you checked the
Special Offers page lately? Currently, there are room discounts available for Annual Passholders through the end of June. You might be able to re-book your current room at a discount and pay for your upgrade with the savings.
How about shopping discounts, dining discounts, tour discounts? Those are all included with your Annual Pass (some items and locations are excluded from discounts). Free standard theme park parking? Included.
Debra, are you convinced yet? Come back and visit us with any additional questions.
Best Wishes,
Amy S.
