We have a 4-day park hopper trip planned for Dec. 16-20. I know it is getting late for reservations. I have 5 children ranging in age from 18 months to 11 years old. Do you have any advice for must-dos at each park? Dining? Rides? Activities?

    Hi Sonya!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!

You are going to have a magical time! You are visiting during a wonderful time of year! The Christmas decorations will be out and the holiday time is magical.

Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) are available beginning 180 days prior to your check-in day, therefore you will want to make your ADRs ASAP to get a chance at scoring some of the restaurants you desire.

The best Disney Dining experiences that children love are character dining. Since you are getting close to the time of your trip, I recommending trying to make an ADR at some of the less crowded restaurants, such as Garden Grill at Epcot, in which your children can dine with Chip and Dale. Akershus Royal Banquet hall allows aspiring princesses to meet Belle, Aurora, Cinderella and other princess friends. It's a bit easier to score an ADR here than Cinderella's Royal Table.

Donald's Safari Breakfast at Animal Kingdom is another great option.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be going on during your visit so you may want to consider buying tickets for this event. Kids of all ages love this party. They can enjoy hot chocolate and cookies, special character meet and greets and holiday fireworks.

At Epcot, your kids will love the Storytellers Around the World and hearing about holiday celebrations in countries around the world.

I hope you have a magical visit!

    Magically,
    Stacy
