Hi Dale,
Your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is SO CLOSE, and I bet that you're practically BURSTING with anticipation! It's great to hear that you already have your
theme park tickets purchased and
Disney Parks Pass reservations made. All of your preplanning is going to pay off when you pass through those magical welcome gates and get to experience all of the Disney fun you've been dreaming about!
I'm happy to let you know that you will not be penalized if you make a reservation for a theme park and don't end up using it. While I'd encourage you to cancel it if you know ahead of time, especially if the park happens to be at capacity for that day (think of the pixie dust you'll be sprinkling on some other ecstatic Guest!), you won't make Mickey Mouse mad or lose a day on your ticket if you don't. Do note, though, that you're only able to make reservations for as many days as you have theme park tickets. So, for example, while
your 10-day ticket is valid for a period of 14 days, you'll only be able to make reservations for ten of them ahead of time. If one of your planned days ends up a little topsy turvy and you don't end up using a reservation, just don't forget to make one for another day so that you're able to enjoy all ten days of your theme park tickets!
With the
Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival kicking off on March 3rd, you're in for a TREAT! Not only will you be able to enjoy the gorgeous blooms, extraordinary topiaries, and fun live entertainment, but keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog as they should be releasing their
festival foodie guide soon. Mmm...there are always so many delicious bites and beverages offered at the
Outdoor Kitchens and I can't wait to see what old favorites and new creations they dream up this year!
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Dale, and if there's anything else we can help with as you're preparing and
packing, please let us know! I hope you have a truly magical vacation next week!
