Going for 1 day to MK with my daughter who is 4yrs old. Can a family member who isn’t entering any parks drop us off versus us paying to park? If so how does it work?

Hello again, Sara!  Thanks for bringing another great question to us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Yes, you are absolutely welcome to have a family member drop you and your daughter off for your magical adventure at Magic Kingdom Park.  There is a designated Guest Pickup and Drop Off lot near the Transportation and Ticket Center, which is the main gateway for Guests heading to Magic Kingdom Park.

As you approach the Magic Kingdom Parking area, stay to the left.  Look for signs indicating Magic Kingdom Resorts and Guest Pickup / Drop Off.  You will not need to go through the Magic Kingdom Parking toll booth or pay for parking.  You will need to make a left turn at the stoplight at Seven Seas Drive, so be sure to stay in the far left lane.  The Guest Pickup / Drop Off area will be on the right side of Seven Seas Drive.  If you zoom in on this map, you should be able to see the Transportation and Ticket Center near the intersection of World Drive and Seven Seas Drive, next to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

I hope that helps!  Please feel free to stop by the Moms Panel again with any additional questions you may have.  Enjoy your visit!
