Hi, Joel! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
I'm so excited to hear that you're headed to
Walt Disney World Resort this October! Fall is one of my favorite times to visit because, in addition to the
Disney thrills that you can experience all year long, there is some extra fun to be had during the autumn months.
One of my favorite fall events is the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. You can taste your way around the world at nearly 30
Global Marketplace food and beverage booths. With great
live music and fun scavenger hunts, this festival has something to appeal to every Guest. The best part of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is that it is included with your admission to
EPCOT.
During the spooky season,
Magic Kingdom Park closes early on select nights for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. During this specially ticketed event, Guests can
dress in their Halloween best, trick-or-treat throughout Magic Kingdom Park, and experience exclusive entertainment offerings such as
Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade and
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. In order to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you will need to purchase separate tickets for this event. You can do so by calling the phone number listed on the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party webpage linked above. This event is quite popular and some dates have already sold out, so I recommend purchasing your tickets as soon as possible.
Joel, I hope this information is helpful as you plan for your trip. If you have any additional questions, please visit us again. I hope your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is frightfully fun! Happy Halloween!
Samantha
