7 day hopper tics for October 5-11. Staying off site where there are sevel pools and a huge lake, do you think we should still  do the water parks at Disney? We have a 8 and 3 yr old.

    Hi Tanya,

Is this your first visit (or one of your first visits) to Walt Disney World? If so, I think you'll find that there's plenty to do at the theme parks and Downtown Disney without venturing to a water park, particularly if you have access to water activities at your hotel. And frankly, while there are certainly things for a three year old to do at the water parks, I wouldn't say that the play areas for little kids are going to occupy them for long stretches of time.

Also bear in mind that you can wait until you arrive at Disney World to make this decision. You can upgrade your tickets to include water park visits at any point during your stay. Just stop by any park ticket window or guest relations office to do this. This way you can wait to see what the weather is like during your stay as well as gauge your family's stamina level during the trip. If you decide that you want to try the water parks at that time, just go ahead and buy water park admission when you're there.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
