Ahoy, Frank! Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your Disney Cruise Line question! It sounds like your countdown is on for your
Halloween on the High Seas cruise aboard the
Disney Dream...how exciting! I’m happy to help you get those packing lists shipshape.
For your
5-night sailing from Fort Lauderdale, you can look forward to plenty of themed fun. According to the current itinerary, the Halloween deck party celebration is scheduled for night 2, the optional “Dress Your Best” night falls on night 3, and Pirate Night takes place on night 4. The remaining evenings are cruise casual, so you can relax and wear what makes you comfortable. While 5-night itineraries don’t typically include a traditional “formal” night (those are usually reserved for sailings of seven nights or longer), the Dress Your Best evening is the perfect time to pull out your favorite dressy outfit if you’d like.
One of the best parts about a Halloween on the High Seas sailing is Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party, which is a deck celebration featuring Disney Characters in their Halloween costumes, music, dancing, and sweet treats. It’s a family favorite and will hopefully be one of the highlights of your vacation You’ll also have Pirate Night, complete with a themed dinner menu, high-seas entertainment, and dazzling fireworks at sea, so don’t forget to pack your pirate gear too!
Once you’re onboard, the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be your best friend. It lists each day’s activities and theme nights, and if you “favorite” something, you’ll get a reminder before it begins...it’s like having your own cruise assistant right in your pocket!
I hope you have a spook-tacular time on your Halloween on the High Seas adventure, Frank!
Sea ya real soon,
Eean
