Hi there! The day we go to Animal Kingdom, we have a dinner reservation at Boma. In your opinion, do you think it will be too much time to go out of the park to go eat dinner and then come back in after dinner? Are we better off eating dinner at the park?

    Hi Lauren!

Disney's Animal Kingdom and Boma - Flavors of Africa are both amazing experiences that I highly recommend to anyone visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.  Since Boma - Flavors of Africa is a buffet, you can decide how much time you would like to spend there.  Because of this, it is totally possible to go to dinner there and make your way back to Disney's Animal Kingdom to enjoy some of the later activities.

That being said, because the food at Boma - Flavors of Africa is so amazing (and there is so much of it), you may want to reschedule your dinner for another day so you can focus on the entire experience.  I like to relax on the patio at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and watch the animals roam the savanna before and after my meal.  If you are in a rush to get back to the park, you may miss some of that experience.

Also, especially with the addition of Pandora - The World of Avatar, Disney's Animal Kingdom has so much to see!  I have a feeling that you won't want to leave when dinnertime comes around.  I highly recommend checking out Satu'li Canteen if you are looking for an awesome meal in Disney's Animal Kingdom.  No matter what you choose, I am sure you will have a great time!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
