The day that we are at Disney's Hollywood Studios is the day that we want to visit Downtown Disney to grab a bite of lunch at Earl of Sandwich. What is the best/quickest way to get there and back? Can we use the monorail or do you suggest something else?

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Robert!  If you do not mind paying cab fare, a taxi will definitely be the quickest route of transportation from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Downtown Disney and back. The Walt Disney World monorail system does not access Disney's Hollywood Studios or Downtown Disney. If you prefer to take advantage of Disney's complimentary transportation, the best route would be to take the Friendship Ferry (water taxi) from Disney's Hollywood Studios to the Walt Disney World Swan or Dolphin Hotels and then transfer to a bus bound for Downtown Disney. I would estimate your travel time to take approximately 45 minutes to one hour one way; whereas, a taxi would most likely get you to Downtown Disney in approximately 15 minutes.  I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to visit me again with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Robert!
