Have 4-day Discover Disney tickets for FL residents that expire 6/24. We’ve used 1 day and plan to use remaining 3-days June 15-17. Can we upgrade to silver annual pass on the last day of our trip? and still visit final park even if during blackout period?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Bernadette!

Florida Resident deals are the best, aren’t they? I think it’s a great idea to upgrade to the Florida Resident Silver Pass on the last day of your trip! The kind of pass you decide to purchase may be swayed by the block-out dates. Make sure to look at all of your options and important block-out dates by viewing the Annual Pass Blockout Calendar

Right now, it looks like the Disney Silver Pass has block-dates that will begin in early June. You can still use the final days on your Discover Disney tickets to enjoy the parks before upgrading, but you won't be able to visit using your new passholder status during block-out dates after your tickets Discover Disney Tickets have been used up.

An important thing to remember is that your annual pass will expire on the day that you first used your Florida Resident Discover Disney tickets. You can upgrade to the annual pass of your choice in person at any Guest Relations window at any of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks or Disney Springs.

Bernadette, the Annual Passholder Program comes with tons of benefits along with access to all 4 theme parks for a year. My family always enjoys discounts at the many Walt Disney World Resort restaurants. We also indulge ourselves with some retail therapy on occasion.

I see many visits to the Walt Disney World Resort in your future and I hope you enjoy each and every one of them!
