Our 180 day dining reservation is in early May. We haven’t purchased our passes yet. Do we need to have our passes before we make reservations?

    Hi Kathryn!

How exciting! Planning where to dine during my Walt Disney World vacation is one of my favorite things to do. Honestly, even if I don't have an upcoming vacation to dream about, you'll find me reading the Disney Parks Blog's posts about the newest restaurants, new menu items, and, of course, what the best snacks are! A bonus is that the blog often posts about how to make some of these Disney treats at home! Perfect for days when we're stuck at home but are wishing for a little magic!

No worries about making your Dining Reservations. Park admission is not currently required in order to make a reservation. Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance. The quickest, and best, way to make a new dining reservation is via the online reservation system. Be sure to log into My Disney Experience either via your computer or the My Disney Experience mobile app first so that all of your reservations are automatically linked to your account. You'll be able to see all of your reservations under the My Plans section of My Disney Experience.

While you're planning your Fall trip, be sure to keep a few openings in your dining schedule for the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival! The Outdoor Kitchens are not to be missed. I can easily dine around World Showcase for lunch and dinner during my entire trip! Check out this Foodie Guide to see some of last year's wonderful treats. Just don't be surprised if your stomach starts grumbling! The extra experiences and tours offered only during the festival are a fun touch if you or your family has a love of the culinary arts.

I hope you have a great time planning your upcoming trip. Don't hesitate to ask if we can help with any additional details!
