Hi we are going on a 3 day cruise in sept for our twin boys 1st birthday last time we went we didn't eat in the main dining rooms but at cabanas every night we will probably do the same this time I was wondering if they will purée food for the boys

Welcome aboard, Joanne! What a wonderful way to celebrate the first birthday of your boys! Setting sail with Disney Cruise Line is always magical, but add a birthday celebration to that mix and it's even more memorable! I celebrated my birthday onboard the Disney Wonder last year and it was one of the best ones yet!

Be sure to stop by the Guest Services desk to pick up birthday buttons for your little ones. Cast Members will really go out of their way to make the birthday boys feel special!

Disney Cruise Line is happy to puree food for babies and toddlers, however they normally do that in the main dining restaurants, as they have servers there and more time to be able to accommodate special requests like that. Once onboard though, it wouldn't hurt to ask at Cabanas  if they are able to puree food at night when Cabanas turns into a casual table service restaurant. Since it's not buffet at night, there may be the possibility, but I think your best bet is going to be asking for this special request in the main restaurants. If you eat lunch in one of the restaurants, you might ask for a bit extra to be pureed and you could save that in your mini-fridge in your stateroom to give the boys for dinner in case you don't plan to eat at the restaurants for dinner.

Cruising with Disney is also a great time to introduce new foods to little ones. Since it's easy enough to order something else if the first food isn't a big hit, it's a great way to experiment with new tastes. There are plenty of little bites that they could have as finger foods too, so give some new foods a try and you might just come home with two little boys with some new favorite foods!

    Have fun planning, Joanne!
