We are going on a 7 day cruise on the Disney Fantasy! What is the best way to plan daily activities with a 3 year old (who still takes naps) and a 6 year old? I want to make sure we maximize our activities without the crankiness. Thanks!

    Welcome Aboard, K!

How exciting that you are embarking on a seven night voyage on the gorgeous Disney Fantasy!

One of the best things about being on a cruise ship is that you are never very far from your room. Our youngest still napped when we took our first cruise (and now our teen likes to nap, but that is completely different!). It worked out perfectly, as my husband or myself could walk the little one to the room for a nap and get her settled while the other one of us took our older daughter to do something else. With the ease of texting with either the wave phones or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App., you will be able to keep in touch.

I would recommend trying to get both of your young cruisers to nap each day, so that the late night activities are not missed! The Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party is definitely worth staying up for! On our first cruise, our little one fell asleep and I woke her up to go up to the deck to watch the fireworks. She still talks about that! It made a great memory for both of us.

I hope this helps with planning for your upcoming cruise. Please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more questions as they arise.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
