We are going on a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas and I was wondering about the best places and times to get photos with and of the Characters. Also about any special Christmas happenings. Thanks

    Ahoy Karen!
A holiday cruise is a wonderful time to set sail on the high seas because Disney Cruise Line always makes holidays extra magical!  The ship will be decked out from stem to stern with stunning festive decor which will make for the perfect backdrop for your family photos!  All the holiday happenings will be listed in your daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator so keep it handy throughout your sailing.  You can expect crafts, gingerbread house making, a special "Deck the Deck" holiday party, holiday storytellers, snow flurries on Castaway Cay, King Triton's Tree Lighting Ceremony, and a holiday themed "Till We Meet Again" on the last day.  For some of the events, the characters will be dressed in their festive attire so you will definitely want to check your cruise newsletter for these unique photo ops!  Other character meet and greets will be listed in your newsletter, on the Character Information Board in the Lobby Atrium, or by calling 7-PALS.  My advice is to arrive around 15 minutes early for the characters you want to see because the castmember will "cut" the line once the character meet and greet window is closed.  One of my favorite places to see the characters is on Castaway Cay.  They usually are out in their tropical attire around 10-11:00 AM.  If you have a princess in your party, the Royal Princess Gathering is very popular so be sure to arrive extra early for this one and have autograph books and cameras ready!  Also, be sure to always have your camera and autograph book handy because you never know who you might run in to around the ship!
I hope my tips are helpful, Karen!  Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel and please stop by again if you think of anything else!
    Have a magical day!
