If I have a 6 day base ticket with a water park add on, does the water park count as one of the 6 days? Or, are we able to go to the water park and then to Magic Kingdomr parade and fire works without the park hopper?

Hi, Nancy! No, the water parks do not count as one of your six base ticket days.  The theme park admissions (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom) are the only ones subtracted from that total.  Likewise , the theme parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon) don't count in the Park Hopping.  You will be able to hit the water parks in the morning and a theme park in the evening without the Park Hopper option.  It's only when you go from theme park to theme park in the same day that you need that option.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
