If I have a 4-day base ticket, can I leave a park and return the same night? Also, can I use two of my days for the same park (i.e., Magic Kingdom?

Hi, Debbie!  With the base tickets, you can go in and out of the same park on the same day as often as you want.  You can go in the morning, leave for some mid-morning swimming, return to the park for lunch, leave to go have dinner, and go back again to the park for the fireworks in the evening.  As long as you go back to the same park you first entered into in the morning, you're good to go.

You can use your four days wherever you would like.  You are not required to visit each theme park, and you are certainly not limited to visiting a theme park only once.  I know some people who would use all four days at the same park!

I hope your upcoming vacation is absolutely fabulous!
