We are going on the 8 day Bahamas cruise on the Magic next week. We are so excited but my 4 yr old daughter wants to know if she can swim in the Mickey shaped pool. Everything we find says it is only for up to 3 yrs old.

Cammy, welcome aboard! You must already have your suitcases out and ready to pack for your cruise on the Magic next week! I'm excited for you! I returned earlier this month from a 6-night sailing on the Magic and enjoyed every minute of it!

Anyone can swim in the Mickey pool, and your four-year old is certainly going to have a blast there! My four-year old son couldn't get enough of that pool a few weeks ago. We found ourselves up there late into the night one night because he had the entire thing to himself and did not want to abandon the pool! The Mickey slide which is just above the pool is sure to be a hit with your four-year old too. I can't tell you how many times my son went up those stairs, down the slide, up the stairs, down the slide, over and over and over. Whew! One of his favorite things to do by far!

There is a splash area just outside the Mickey pool for the younger set, say three and under, so maybe that is where the age range confusion came in. Either way, your little princess is going to really enjoy that pool and slide. It's shallow enough that you can sit on the side while your daughter splashes around on her own and makes some new friends, though you are certainly welcome to join her in the fun too!

Have an amazing time on the Magic, Cammy! Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
