Hi, Cheryl! A Disney Cruise is such a fun way to celebrate a birthday, and I’m excited to help you add some magic to your daughter’s special day!
First,
make sure the birthday is noted on your reservation. Under Special Requests, select Celebrations to highlight the special occasion. Your dining room servers will usually ask which night you’d like to celebrate, and while it’s not guaranteed, they often sing and bring out a special dessert.
You can order a cake for the table through
Onboard Gifts. You can select your preferred date when placing the order. Since cakes and cupcakes must be ordered at least seven days before your sail date, and you're leaving soon, I’d recommend
calling Disney Cruise Line to see if they can add one to your reservation. For room décor or flowers, you have up to three days before sailing to place your order.
I also recommend stopping by Guest Services to pick up a complimentary "Happy Birthday" button for your daughter to wear throughout the cruise. This special button will not only make her feel celebrated but will also catch the attention of the Crew, fellow Guests, and even the Disney Characters! You’ll be amazed by how many people will join in to wish her a magical birthday.
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your questions. I hope these tips help make your daughter’s birthday at sea unforgettable!
SEAS the adventure!
