My daughters and I will be traveling to WDW in February 2020. How do I know what menu items qualify as a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan? Do I have to check with the server or is there a list somewhere for all of the parks?

Hello again, Annette! This is another great question, so I am glad you shared it with us! There is not an official list of every Disney Dining Plan snack credit-eligible item found across Walt Disney World Resort at this time, but I have a tip to share with you that will make it easy to spot them. Simply look for the purple and white Disney Dining Plan logo. You will see it on menu boards and item labels at Quick Service dining locations, theme park and resort merchandise locations, and snack cart locations.

Most snack credit-eligible items cost $5 or less. This usually includes any single-serving item that is not an entree, any item listed as a "Side" at a Quick Service dining location, any single-serving non-alcoholic beverage, small prepackaged food items such as cookies, and ice-cream novelties (Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bars! Dole Whips!) or creations that are made of up to two scoops of ice cream. Please note that the snack credit-eligible beverages will come with a regular cup, not a souvenir one. I always plan to use our dining plan meal entitlements for lunches and dinners and save those snack credits for breakfast at the resort. There, you can usually find oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, and pastries.
While $5 is generally the target limit, there are some higher-priced items that make the cut, such as my favorite Starbucks beverages. If you visit during one of the many Epcot festivals, such as the Epcot International Festival of the Arts, then most food and nonalcoholic drinks items can be purchased with snack credits. Some of these are $8 or more, making them a huge value for the dining plan!

Thanks again for your great questions and let us know if you have more! Hope to see ya real soon!
