Ahoy Keely, thanks for floating by planDisney!
We recently sailed on
the Magic and were in your exact situation. My kiddos are the same age as yours, and they wanted to hang out in the Oceaneer's Club together because my daughter didn't love the idea of hanging out in
the Edge on her own. Thankfully, it all worked out, but let me walk you through the rules!
The Magic has three "kids" clubs on board (as well as the Vibe - which is so cool I wanted to hang there!) and a "it's a small world" nursery. The
Oceaneer Club and Lab are for littles aged 3-10, and the Edge is for the bigs aged 11-14. Safety is one of my favorite things about the kid's clubs on a Disney cruise, and Tink and Mickey make sure everybody sticks to the rules onboard! So, unfortunately for your kiddos, because one is a "big," and their sibling is a "little," they can't hang out together during regular operating hours. But! The clubs have Open Houses where Mouseketeers of all ages can hang out. On our cruise, these open houses happened daily, and our daughter took advantage of those times to hang with her brothers.
The easiest way to keep track of the open hours is through your
Navigator app. On day 1, I searched all the open house hours and added them to my favorites so they popped up on my daily schedule. That way, I could let my girl know when she'd get to head to
S.H.I.E.L.D. Command with her partners-in-crime-fighting!
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to sail back. I wish you
a sail full of Magic!
