We daughters and I will be taking the Pirates and Pals Dessert Cruise in February. I am assuming that the cruise will end at the Contemporary Hotel. What is the best way to get back to Pop Century from there? Thanks for any help you can give me!

Ahoy, Annette! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with ye question. Ye wee buccaneers are brave souls for boarding ol' Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage. They may want to brush up on their pirate-speak before dealing with Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. Ye don't want landlubbers for daughters, do ye?

The Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage does indeed launch from and return guests to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Once you disembark and your sea legs have steadied you, you have a few options for returning to your resort. Walt Disney World Resort does provide complimentary transportation from the theme parks to Disney Resort Hotels, so your best bet there will be to walk over to Magic Kingdom Park and board a bus there. There is a walkway connecting the resort to the park. Of course, you could also head upstairs at Disney's Contemporary Resort to ride the monorail, Disney's highway in the sky, to the park.

There are more efficient ways to reach your destination, but note that these are not complimentary options. Honestly, the price is worth the time you will save! You can hail a taxi or use rideshare apps to catch a ride from that resort to Disney's Pop Century Resort. However, the most adorable way to travel is by Minnie Van! Disney's Minnie Van Service is offered through Lyft and can be used anywhere across Walt Disney World Resort. My daughters love riding in these red-and-white polka dot vehicles and have threatened to make me walk the plank if we do not get to ride in one during each visit! Definitely consider using them when your pillow is the pirate's treasure you seek at the end of a long day.

Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
