My daughters surprised me with a WDW trip and I want to surprise THEM with a Pirates and Pals Journey. Will the crowds have diminished by the time we disembark? Any suggestions for leaving the park efficiency?

It is so great to hear from you again, Annette! Thank you for bringing another great question to us! Your trip is shaping up to be quite an adventure. The Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage is a great addition to your plans and a fun way to surprise your thoughtful daughters. This voyage across the Seven Seas Lagoon provides excellent views of Magic Kingdom Park's nighttime spectacular and, if you are lucky, my childhood favorite - the Electrical Water Pageant. You will head back to the marina at Disney's Contemporary Resort to end the evening, but be on the lookout for a surprise guest!

I believe you mentioned the last time we chatted here that you are staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort. Once you disembark at the marina, you will need to head back into Disney's Contemporary Resort. From there, you have the option of either using alternate transportation from the resort or walking over to the bus circle at Magic Kingdom Park. Honestly, the most efficient option for you (and the option I personally would use that evening) is to use Disney's Minnie Van Service. This can be done within either the Lyft app or My Disney Experience mobile app. If you use My Disney Experience mobile app, just look for the red and white polka dot vehicle on the home screen. Clicking that will end up taking you to the Lyft app. After you input your destination, the app will show you different modes of transportation. Just swipe across to the last option to find Disney's Minnie Van Service.

The bus circle can be a bit busy after Happily Ever After ends; however, there are many buses dispatched to that area, so the crowds waiting to head back to their resort can quickly diminish. Still, I will highly recommend that you consider using Disney's Minnie Van Service as I am sure this will be the end of a long day of pixie-dusted adventures for all of you and you will be ready for some rest! I hope this helps you plan your evening and please let us know if you have any other questions!
