Welcome to a fellow Hoosier! You sound like my kind of vacationer! I love spending at least one day relaxing while at Walt Disney World.
My idea for a practically perfect lazy Disney day would start by sleeping in. I know this is contrary to every bit of Disney touring advice you will get but it is a great way to recharge after a couple of park days. When everyone is awake take a leisurely stroll to the
Pepper Market within Disney's Coronado Springs Resort for a nice breakfast... or early lunch if you have late risers.
After breakfast you could spend the day exploring the recreational opportunities Coronado Springs has to offer. If your daughters are anything like mine they will want some quality pool time. The Dig Site pool complex features a 123-foot waterslide and the largest hot tub on Disney property. After a dip in the pool you could take on your daughters in a game of beach volleyball near the Dig Site. However, this might require another dip in the pool when you are done.
In the late afternoon you could head over the Magic Kingdom but instead of going into the park jump on the resort Monorail and take a tour of the 'monorail resorts'. Start with the Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I am sure the girls will love a little pampering at the
Senses Spa on their 'lazy day'.
For dinner try Captain Cook's in Disney's Polynesian Resort. It's a quick service restaurant with a great menu. Then grab a Dole Whip and head out to the Polynesian beach where you will have a great view of the Electrical Water Pageant and Wishes.
I hope this helps your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.
