Boo to you, Carol!
Welcome, foolish mortal, to planDisney. I’m excited those playful spooks led you here with your question today, and I’m even more excited to hEAR you will be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth during the spookiest time of year. I bet you can’t wait!
Oh, Carol, I’m sorry you’ve had such a frustrating experience trying to get the MagicBands sorted out for your upcoming trip. It sounds like you may be trying to link the MagicBands again even though they are already linked and activated. Once a MagicBand is linked to an individual,
it will always be linked to that individual. You don’t necessarily need to move the MagicBand over to your daughter’s
My Disney Experience account, because it is still linked to her and your MagicBand is still linked to you. Deactivating a MagicBand simply makes it unusable until it’s activated again. However, I understand you would be more comfortable if the MagicBands were listed under your daughter’s account this time around. To get all these technical hiccups worked out, you should give the Cast Members at the
UK Technical and Website Support phone line a call. They can answer any questions you have and get things sorted out in a jiffy.
In the meantime, be sure to read up on all of the
autumn happenings at Walt Disney World Resort, and keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for further Disney Parks news and updates.
Carol, I hope this information proves helpful. Let me know if you have further questions, and have a spooktacular trip!
Hurry back,
Alyssa
