I have 2 daughters (3 and 4) who love to dress up as princesses. Do many children wear their dress up costumes all day or just a portion of the day? We will be dining at CRT one evening so I'm sure they will dress up to meet Cinderella. Thanks!

    Hi Candace,

I can imagine how excited you little princesses are to visit their favorite princesses. They are at such an amazing age where the magic will be even brighter to them.

You will see a large number of pint size guests visiting the parks in their favorite Disney costumes. Honestly their comfort level is how I would judge how long to leave the costumes are. When my boys were younger, often they would start the day in their costume and as they got hot, or dripped their third Mickey ice cream bar onto their Peter Pan outfit, we would take it off. I would definitely carry an extra outfit if you are planning on letting them start the day in their dresses. Florida tends to get very hot and humid during the day and they may want to cool off and remove the dress.

Now maybe it is just that I have messy boys, but if you are hoping for sparkling clean gowns for their Cinderella Castle dinner, it may be a good idea to put the dress on them later in the day just before dinner, or at least make sure you cover it during lunch and snacks.

Wishing you all a magical time!
