My daughters and I are headed to WDW on August 27. My husband is deployed military so he cannot join us. His birthday is August 31, will be at Epcot on his birthday and he asked us to celebrate for him. What can we do to make his day special ? Thank you!

    Hi Melinda,

How do I say a big enough THANK YOU to you and your family? I am so grateful for your husband's service to our country as well as you supporting him.

Since he wants you to celebrate his birthday without him, what about recreating his favorite day at Epcot if you have been before. RIde his favorite attractions, dine at his favorite restaurant and order his favorite dessert. You could even have the restaurant send out a happy birthday dessert and video tape them singing to him.

The other way to go is to try something new. When I am in Walt Disney World without my family, I often try new things so that I can get them excited about it when we can experience it together.

Let us know which way you go so we can help tailor the celebration!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
