    MY daughter's girl scout troop leader advised she may be able to earn Disney Fun Patches while we are there April 23-30th. Where would we go in each park to get information on what she could earn and how do we get the badges?

    Hi Diana!

    I am my daughter's Girl Scout Troop leader and we were so excited to see that you can earn a Girl Scout Disney Fun Patch! You have a few options for earning your Girl Scout Fun Patch. You can certainly follow the requirements for the badge on your own in the park. There are plentiful ways to earn the patch, from understanding cultural differences by exploring Epcot, learning about different cultures (including watching  Oh Canada! and Reflections of China). Your little Girl Scout can also learn map reading skills by reading the map and helping navigate for the day. If you are looking for a more formal program, check out the Girl Scouts Disney Youth Education Series. You can find a program based on your child's grade level, interest and park. There is a Principles of Animal Behavior Disney Youth Education Series that is available for groups of 10 or more. This is great if you are going as a Girl Scout Troop.

    The best way to get information on how to earn the badges is to research it on the Girl Scout site and then make a plan to achieve the requirements on your own in the park.
